EAST WRESTLING SPLITS AT MASON

East Wrestling traveled Mason for a tri-meet that included Sycamore last Wednesday. EL CAPORAL Team of the Week – Wrestling

This week’s EL CAPORAL, Lakota East Team of the Week is the Thunderhawk Wrestling Team. The 2020-21 season is different due to Covid19.  But, the Hawk Wrestlers have continued on and had some very good success so far.  The Hawks are the #6 ranked team in the city with a dual meet mark of 12-4.

TWO WRESTLERS HEADED TO STATE!

EPSTEIN AND SHARP COLUMBUS BOUND! Lakota East Wrestlers Alex Epstein and Aaron Sharp will represent Lakota East at the OHSAA State Championships next weekend. The pair of East standouts punched their ticket at the District Championships last Saturday at Kettering Fairmont. Epstein placed 3rd overall at 138 and Sharp placed 4th at the 285 weight

WRESTLING TEAM CAPTURES FIRST AT SECTIONAL!

Lakota East Wrestling had a big weekend winning the Sectional tourney at Middletown with a 232 point total and many Thunderhawks advancing to the District Championships. WRESTLING TEAM GMC RUNNERUP

HAWKS HIGHEST FINISH SINCE 2003 Congratulations to the East Wrestling Team that finished 2nd overall this past weekend at the GMC Championships at Oak Hills. This the team’s highest finish since the 2002-03 season when they also finished 2nd. Last season East finished the season 3rd overall. Mason was the overall winner, outdistancing the Hawks
