Lakota East Athletes Announce College Commitments

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES SEASON AT STATE!

STATE BOUND AGAIN! HAWKS RACE FOR STATE BERTH AT REGIONAL SPLETZER DISTRICT CHAMP! SPLETZER CROWNED GMC CHAMP! Carly Spletzer, Lakota East senior, made her final Greater Miami Conference cross country race one to remember.  Spletzer dominated a very high-quality field to win the individual crown by an amazing 27 seconds.  Carly’s time of 18:12.8 for the 5k (3.1-mile) championship course at Voice of America Park was just off

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY COMPETE AT ROSS INVITE

The Lakota East girls cross country teams ran their final race of the season this past weekend at the Ross Invitational.  The girls were led by sophomore Jenna Rugg, who ran a season-best time of 22:58 for the 5k (3.1-mile) course around the Ross High School campus.  Jenna placed 16th overall in the 121-girl race. 

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER-UP AT AVES INVITE 

The Lakota East girls’ cross country team ran their best race of the season to date at the Sycamore Invitational Saturday night.  Despite not running their current #1 runner, Carly Spletzer, the Lady Thunderhawks placed a very close 2nd to a really good Loveland squad.  Senior, Kelsi Harris re-joined the lineup and filled that #1
