SPLETZER CROWNED GMC CHAMP! Carly Spletzer, Lakota East senior, made her final Greater Miami Conference cross country race one to remember.  Spletzer dominated a very high-quality field to win the individual crown by an amazing 27 seconds.  Carly’s time of 18:12.8 for the 5k (3.1-mile) championship course at Voice of America Park was just off

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY COMPETE AT ROSS INVITE

The Lakota East girls cross country teams ran their final race of the season this past weekend at the Ross Invitational.  The girls were led by sophomore Jenna Rugg, who ran a season-best time of 22:58 for the 5k (3.1-mile) course around the Ross High School campus.  Jenna placed 16th overall in the 121-girl race.
