Lakota East Boys Volleyball ended another stellar season at the State Quarter Finals on June 1st. The Hawks battled a very tough Mt. Vernon team, losing in a 5-game match, 18-25, 25-18, 20-25, 25-14, 15-10. The Regional Champion Hawks completed their season at 19-5, and GMC champions for a 4th consecutive season.

The East boys’ volleyball team defeated Northmont Tuesday night, 25-19, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20, to advance to 15-2 on the season. Once again, senior, outside hitter, Ethan Hubbard led the team in digs and kills with 18 and 20, respectively. Senior, middle blocker, Colton Marsh also helped drive the offense, adding 11 kills to the match.
