The Lakota East girls golf team pursuit of a 4th straight state berth fell a little short on Tuesday at the District Championships at Glenview. The team came in 8th place shooting 361. The East girls golf team tied for 2nd at the Sectional Championship yesterday shooting 357. Ellie Yeazell led the team shooting 82. After the first day of the GMC Championships, East girls golf, the defending champs, find themselves in 2nd place behind current leader Mason (292-329). The GMC Tourney will conclude at Walden later today.  Next up for East is the Celtic Invite at Darby Creek GC on Monday, Sept. 21st.
