FOOTBALLERS EVAN YOCKEY AND ADAM HUNDEMER TO NEXT LEVEL!

Lakota East has two senior football players that have announced to play their sport at the collegiate level.  During the current early signing period, Evan Yockey and Adam Hundemer both have made formal announcements.  Yockey will play at Youngstown State University and Adam Hundemer will sign at Southern Illinois University. FOOTBALL SEASON ENDS WITH WIN VS. HAMILTON

Lakota East Football held on to defeat Hamilton Big Blue in the season finale for the Thunderhawks. The final score was 21-14 Hawks. East just misses a playoff berth and finishes with a 5-5 overall record (4-4 GMC-5th). East held a 14-7 lead at the half and both schools traded TD’s in the fourth quarter.

East Football visited GMC foe Colerain on Friday, falling 34-3 to the Cardinals. The Hawks held off Colerain in the first half and went into the locker trailing 13-3.
