The East Girls 2016-17 Basketball season came to an end on Wednesday night. The team fell in the Sectional to Princeton by a score of 44-38. East girls concluded the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 11th with a 60-43 win against Colerain. It was the teams 2nd win in a row heading into the postseason. Girls Basketball Falls to Mercy

East girls lost a non-conference game to Mercy on Monday, 54-40. Jasmine Floyd led the Hawks with 12 points. East will visit Middletown on Wednesday, Feb. 8th. 

Girls Basketball Falls to Princeton

East hit a scoring draught on Saturday against Princeton and fell 46-31. The Hawks managed only 6 first half points while the Vikings totaled 26 by the break. The 2nd scoring picked up, but the Vikes went on to victory. Jordan Stanley led East with 12 points. East is back in a action on Monday,

Girls Basketball Rally Falls Just Short vs Hamilton

East fell to Hamilton 50-47 on Saturday. The Hawks put on a valiant comeback effort in the fourth quarter (24-11) but fell short. Secret Hughes led East with 12 points, followed by Grace Silverberg’s 11. East will get #2 Mason at home this Wednesday, February 1st.

The Thunderhawk Girls Basketball team took on Sycamore at the Hawk’s nest Thursday night.
