Lakota East Football held on to defeat Hamilton Big Blue in the season finale for the Thunderhawks. The final score was 21-14 Hawks. East just misses a playoff berth and finishes with a 5-5 overall record (4-4 GMC-5th). East held a 14-7 lead at the half and both schools traded TD’s in the fourth quarter.


East Football visited GMC foe Colerain on Friday, falling 34-3 to the Cardinals. The Hawks held off Colerain in the first half and went into the locker trailing 13-3. GAVIN MYERS Gavin is a senior on the Lakota East Football Team Gavin kicked two field goals (34 and 25 yards) in an important win over GMC rival Mason. In a continuing effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer, the East kicker/punter  is dedicating his 2019 football season to kids


Lakota East opened the GMC schedule this past Friday and held at Mason, defeating the Comets 20-14. East got things started in the 2nd quarter with two TD scores on a 1-yard dash by Tavier Lugo-Flowers and a Josh Thornhill 4-yard run. Mason added a score also and it was 14-7 at the half. Gavin
