East boys bowling suffered their first GMC loss of the season last night at Oak Hills by a score of 2782-2500. East (5-2, 3-1) will host Moeller today.

BOYS BOWLING DEFEATS PRINCETON

HAWKS STAY PERFECT IN GMC! The Varsity Boys Bowling squad (5 – 1) and (3 – 0) beat Princeton on Wednesday @ Mason Bowl 2695 – 2383. Junior Tristan Bennet led the boys with games of 220 and 203 for a 423 series. The boys had Baker game scores of 220, 202, 257 and 179.

Michael Gehr and Danielle Bustle Named Putters Athletes of the Week

MICHAEL GEHR Michael is a junior on the Lakota East Boys Bowling Team Michael has helped the boys bowling team get off to a 4-1 start early in the 2019-20 season.  He rolled a 412 two-game series in a win over GMC rival Mason.  Gehr bowled a 245 career high game at the Big Blue

BOYS BOWLING BIG BLUE CHALLENGE RESULTS

On Sunday the Varsity Boys bowled in the 17th Annual Big Blue Challenge at Fairfield Lanes. The boys placed 8th out of 20 schools. The Varsity Boys Bowling squad (1- 0) beat conference perennial powerhouse Mason Monday @ Mason Bowl 2703 – 2662. The 2703 total score was 350 pins more than any match the boys’ team amassed last season. Your Thunderhawks were led by Sophomore Alex Swinney with games of 204 and 231 for a 435 two-game series

Alexander Swinney and Kyle Seiler Qualify for District Tourney

BOYS BOWLING  Alexander Swinney and Kyle Seiler have qualified for the District Tourney. The District Boys Bowling Championships will be held at Beaver-Vu Lanes next Wednesday, Feb. 27th. Division I – Five (5) teams and five (5) individuals qualify for State. Congrats and Good Luck to both!
