Wrestling Season Ends at Districts

SEVERAL HAWKS JUST MISS STATE QUALIFICATION Lakota East wrestling sends a large contingent to Districts at Fairmont on Saturday, unfortunately, the Hawks did not have any state qualifiers. Aaron Sharp and Alex Epstein Named Putters Athletes of the Week

 AARON SHARP Aaron is a junior on the Lakota East Wrestling Team. Aaron recently won the 285 weight class, GMC Championship last Saturday.  He has a current record of 20-6.  He also had a 1st place finish at the Beavercreek Invitational.  Aaron earned third placings at the Bucyrus, Fairfield and Milford Tourneys as well ALEX

EPSTEIN AND SHARP GMC CHAMPIONS! The Lakota East Wrestling team competed at the GMC Championships at Oak Hills on Saturday and finished 3rd overall. East battled a very tough Fairfield in a dual meet last Friday night at East. The Hawks fell to the Indians 46-22. EL CAPORAL Team of the Week – Wrestling

This week’s EL CAPORAL, Lakota East Team of the Week is the Thunderhawk Wrestling Team The Thunderhawk Wrestling Team is under new leadership this season and competing strongly in all their early matches.  The team placed first at the Bucyrus Invite in December.  They were 10th out of 49 teams at the Southwest Coaches Classic.
