Girls Volleyball Loses Battle with Mercy-McAuley

Lakota East Women’s Volleyball lost a tough match to a very good Mercy McAuley team 18-25, 26-24, 23-25, 14-25 on Tuesday. Olivia Battista was player of the game, with great serve receive and excellent digs on defense. Next up: East will visit Sycamore on Thursday, Aug. 30th. 

Girls Volleyball Splits Tri-Meet

Lakota East volleyball split a tri-match this past Saturday. The Hawks lost to Turpin 25-16, 25-23. The Hawks turned it around in the second match defeating St. Ursula 25-16, 25-23. Next up: East is at Mercy-McAuley on Tuesday, Aug. 28th.

Girls Volleyball Falls at Sectional Final

The East girls volleyball team ended their season last Wednesday with a 25-22, 25-13, 25-16 loss to eventual District champion, Mason. No other details provided on the contest. East ends their 2017 campaign at 13-12 overall and 7-2 (3rd place) in the GMC.
