Thunderhawk Winter Sports All-City Awards Announced

Jack Hayes and Maria Ballard Off to District Bowling Tournament!

Senior Maria Ballard showed she is one the best bowlers in the area on Thursday at the Sectional tourney at Crossgate Lanes. Although her team will not advance (10th), Maria put together a 537 series and was the #2 qualifier the the district tournament.  She will bowl again on Wednesday, February 24th at Beaver-Vu Lanes

Girls bowling defeated Hamilton 2020-1905 last Wednesday. High bowler for the girls was Maria Ballard with a 381 series including a nice 221 game. Hayley Roach had a 330 series. Next up East (9-4, 4-4) will host Fairfield on Monday, Feb. 1st.

The girls bowling team defeated Reading on Monday by a score of 2032-1706. Maria Ballard was high bowler with a 416 series including a 225 game. Hayley Roach had a nice day with a 339 series.   Next up East will host Hamilton on Wednesday, January 27th.

East Girls Bowling won against Cincinnati Christian last Friday by a score of 2028-1880.
