Mod Pizza Fundraiser Contest!!!

THUNDERHAWK CHESS SEASON MOVING ALONG… Pre-season outlook… Under the continued solid leadership of head coach Pat Krieder, the Lakota East Chess team is excited for another year of competition and hopes to finish in the top half of the GMC rankings.  The Hawk Boardmen will be seeking to improve upon last seasons winning 9-7 record

The Lakota East team traveled to Sycamore Monday morning for round 2 of the season which includes 8 matches over a 9 hour period. The Hawks played well finishing the day at 5-3. Their success at the tournament locked in a 9-7 record and a 4th place finish in the GMC for the Hawks, their

Chess Team Season Comes to a Close

The East Chess team competed in the GMC Tournament on Monday, December 7th. Although the Hawks only went 2-6 on the day leaving them with a 5-10-1 record on the season, they were competitive in each match including matches against Sycamore and Mason. The Hawks ended up in a three way tie for 5th place

Chess Team Falls to Sycamore

On Thursday December 3rd, the East Chess team traveled to Sycamore to challenge the undefeated Aviators. Although the Hawks battled in close individual matches, Sycamore prevailed with a 5-0 victory.  The East Chess Team wraps up their season this Monday, December 7th at the GMC Tournament.

Chess Team Falls to Oak Hills

The East Chess team traveled to Oak Hills to take on the Highlanders on November 24th and the Highlanders had the Hawks number. East lost 4-1 with Jacob Zimmerman winning the lone board for the Hawks. East next travels to Sycamore to take on the first place Aviators on Thursday, December 3rd.
