The Hawk boys basketball team swept the series with Middletown on Tuesday night defeating the Middies 41-33. The first half was a low scoring affair ending with an East 21-14 lead. East boys basketball lost a GMC matchup against Mason on Tuesday. Final score 59-44. The Hawks got a slow start in the contest but stayed in the battle early into the 2nd quarter.
