Boys Volleyball Goes 2-1 at Weekend Tournament

The Thunderhawks went 2-1 at the Centerville Elite tournament this weekend, dropping a tough match to Elder in 5; 18-25, 25-18, 22-25, 28-26, 9-15. Boys Tennis 8th at Coaches Classic

East Tennis competed this weekend in the Coaches Classic. The team finished 8th overall in the Flight B division. Next up, East is at Loveland on Tuesday, April 30th.  The GMC Championships are set for Saturday, May 4th and Monday, May 6th at Mason. 

Softball Defeats Columbus Bishop

The Hawks secured their 19th win on Saturday over Columbus Bishop Hartley at Lakota West. Hailey Holtman exploded for a home run in the fifth inning, contributing 3 RBI’s to the game. Lakota East Thunderhawks traveled outside of conference play Saturday winning against Wyoming Cowboys, 9-6. The pitching for the Hawks was a true team effort. Baseball Comes Back to Beat Sycamore

Lakota East played Sycamore Wednesday evening winning 13-3 in 6 innings. Sophomore Drew Bachman got his 3rd start of the season, pitching 2 innings with 2 strikeouts. Hawks Remain Undefeated at 18-0! The Hawks secured their 18th win on Wednesday against GMC opponent Hamilton. Final score: 15-0. Abby Niehaus led the Hawks offensively, going 3-3, with a single, double, and triple, and 3 RBI’s. Boys Track 6th at Lindsey Invite
