The Lakota East Women’s Soccer Team took on the Mason Comets on Tuesday evening in a battle of two GMC foes. BOYS CROSS COUNBTRY 3RD AT MILFORD

  The Lakota East men’s cross country team had some great performances on their way to a 3rd place finish, out of 18 teams, at the Milford Invitational.  Ashton Gibbs, junior, once again led the way for East with his 11th place finish in a personal record time of 16:25.2 for the 5k (3.1-mile) course. 

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY WINS MILFORD INVITE!

The Lakota East women’s cross country team got back to their winning ways on Saturday at the Milford Invitational.  The Lady Thunderhawks edged out conference-rival Mason by 1-point to win the 19-team competition at the Valley View Nature Preserve. Lakota East shocked the Princeton Vikings last Friday with a 28-19 win over the previously unbeaten Vikings. After Princeton shocked Colerain last week, the Vikings and the Lakota East Thunderhawks entered their Week 4 matchup in very different spots. BOYS SOCCER DEFEATS HAMILTON

East boys soccer team defeated Hamilton last night by a score of 8-1. Peyton Tennis got the Hawks on the board in the fifth minute of play after converting a penalty kick. Hamilton would even the score 15 minutes into the game, but JP Plennert would reclaim the lead for the Hawks three minutes later

GIRLS SOCCER BEATS BIG BLUE

Lakota East took on Hamilton Big Blue on Thursday evening at the Hawks Nest, in a GMC battle.  The Thunderhawks’ played well on both ends of the pitch, beating league opponent Hamilton 2-0.  Senior Reyna Mijangos scored both goals for East, with assists from Sophomore Erica Cox and Senior Avery Mahon.  Sophomore goalkeeper Lucy Carlin
