Boys Soccer Wins 2 in a Row!

The boy’s soccer team won their second consecutive game against Colerain Thursday night. The Hawk’s struck early in the match when a corner kick, taken by junior captain Pepe Cortez, bounced around in the box and was finished by senior, Luke Shelby to put East up 1-0. Girls Soccer Shuts Out Colerain

The Thunderhawks traveled to Colerain to take on the Cardinals in a GMC league match up on Thursday night.  Neither team scored in the first half, but the Hawks turned things around in the second half, scoring two goals for the win. Girls Tennis Falls to Loveland

East girls tennis played their final season match vs Loveland on Wednesday, losing 4-1. Grace Silverberg won her court, 6-2, 6-2. The remaining courts either took their opponents three sets or lost in a tiebreaker. We played some terrific tennis! Boys soccer Defeats Princeton

The boy’s soccer team defeated Princeton on the road Tuesday night to earn their 2nd GMC victory on the season. The Thunderhawks took on the Princeton Vikings at the Hawks Nest on Tuesday night.  After a lengthy delay in play, due to inclement weather, the game was called with the Hawks leading 1-0.  Junior Kayla Womack scored the goal. Girls Volleyball Sweeps Colerain

Lakota East Women’s Volleyball defeated Colerain High School at home on Tuesday with scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-18 to secure their third straight victory. Next match is Thursday at Middletown.

Football Falls to Fairfield

On Friday, Lakota East came up short against Fairfield, falling 27-41. The game was closer than the final score.
