Girls Lacrosse Update

The Thunderhawks  Varsity squad showed tremendous poise and work ethic to overcome a tough and talented Lakota West team 6-2 last Tuesday night.  The Hawks put together a tremendous defensive effort only allowing 2 goals.  Offensively, the Hawks controlled the draw and scored when they had to in order to stay in the lead throughout

Boys Lacrosse Drops Game to Sycamore

East had another GMC matchup Wednesday with Sycamore.  East fell behind early and lost 15-1.  The lone goal was scored by Sophomore Braxton Rich. East will continue the GMC play when they travel to Mason on Monday 4/8.

Girls Track Wins Trotwood!

The weather was not nearly as hospitable on Friday as it was for the Lasalle meet, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the women of Lakota East Varsity Track!  They came out with a meet win and a trophy for East! This is an extremely well-rounded team who has placers and even multiple placers

Boys Volleyball Drops Sycamore

The Boys’ Volleyball team headed to Sycamore last night fresh off a weekend of wins. The Thunderhawks started their route to what they’re hoping is their 4th straight GMC championship, defeating the Aviators; 25-14, 22-25, 25-13, 25-17. Offensively, the Thunderhawks were led by senior, outside hitters, Ethan Hubbard (16 kills) and Reese Kuhlman (12 kills).

Softball Rolls On!

TWO MORE SHUTOUTS! The Girls Softball team defeated Hamilton 10-0 on Wednesday. Cassidy Hudson sparked East’s scoring in the top of the first inning with a home run over the left field fence. She would hit another one in the 2nd inning to cap her night, going 2-3 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI’s.

Baseball Stays Unbeaten!

The Lakota East Thunderhawks won their 3rd one-run game in a row beating Fairfield 2-1. Nate Haberthier and Sydney Larson Named Putters Athletes of the Week

NATE HABERTHIER Nate is a junior on the Lakota East Baseball Team. Nate starts the season with a 5-inning no-hit shutout as East defeats Dayton Stebbins HS 18-0. Haberthier collected 11 strikeouts in the no-no effort. He joins an elite group of Lakota HS pitchers to accomplish this amazing feat. Nate is 2-0 in the

Baseball Sweeps Big Blue

Lakota East swept Hamilton Big Blue Monday night in what was a great game, winning 2-1. Senior Grayson Hamilton got his 2nd win in as many starts, pitching a gem of a game. Pitching a complete game, Hamilton had eight strikeouts with only giving up five hits and two walks. Grayson Hamilton also helped himself

Senior Sydney Larson gave up only 2 hits in East’s win over Fairfield on Monday. Junior Abby Niehaus led the Hawks offense with 2 hits for 4 RBI’s. Boys Track & Field 2nd at Trotwood
