BOYS BASKETBALL ROUTS MIDDIES

East boys routed visiting Middletown on Tuesday, 59-37. The Hawks 31-17 at the half and never looked back. Nate Johnson had a good night scoring 18 to lead all players. ACADEMIC TEAM SWEEPS WEST!

East defeated cross-town rival Lakota West, 65-61 and 72-30 in their last regular season contest. East (9-9) finishes the season in 6th place overall.   

GIRLS BOWLING FALLS TO FAIRFIELD

The Varsity Girls Bowling team lost a conference match against (11 -1) Fairfield on Monday at Fairfield Lanes. BOYS BOWLING DEFEATS INDIANS

The Varsity Boys Bowling squad (7 – 3) beat conference rival Fairfield on Monday 2659 – 2591! The boys had some superb performances led by Sophomore Mars Swader, Alex Swinney, and Juniors Kyle Seiler and Tristan Bennet which all averaged close to 200. EAST RUNNING COACHES EARN 2019 DISTRICT COACH OF THE YEAR HONORS

Lakota East Girls Track and Field Coach Rodney Heath and Girls Cross Country Coach Adam Thomas received some noteworthy recognition recently. The Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches named them both as District Coaches of the Year for 2019. CONGRATULATIONS RODNEY AND ADAM… WE ARE THUNDERHAWK PROUD OF YOU!

East continued their winning ways last Friday with a 61-48 victory at Mason. The Hawks opened up a lead after halftime that the Comets could not answer. Nate Johnson had 21 to lead East. GIRLS BASKETBALL OVERWHELMS BIG BLUE

East Girls Bball defeated Hamilton on Saturday, 65-25. The Hawks built a halftime lead of 36-16 and were never challenged. Madison French and Bri Harris led East with 13 each and Grace Honiford added 10. Next up, East (9-9, 5-7) will host Middletown on Wednesday.
