BOYS SOCCER FALLS TO SYCAMORE

The boy’s soccer team dropped a match to Sycamore Tuesday night by a score of 4-1. After finding themselves in a 2-0 hole during the first half, Matt Price fired a shot off an assist from Connor Pletikapich for the Hawk’s lone goal of the night. East conceived two more goals in the second half.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY 5TH AT ROSS INVITE

The Lakota East boys cross country teams ran their final race of the season this past weekend at the Ross Invitational. The boys were led by sophomore Sean Castillo, who ran a lifetime personal record of 18:23 for the 5k (3.1-mile) course to place 5th overall, out of 116 runners, in the boy’s junior varsity

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY COMPETE AT ROSS INVITE

The Lakota East girls cross country teams ran their final race of the season this past weekend at the Ross Invitational.  The girls were led by sophomore Jenna Rugg, who ran a season-best time of 22:58 for the 5k (3.1-mile) course around the Ross High School campus.  Jenna placed 16th overall in the 121-girl race.

HAWKS WIN REBOUND MATCHUP VS. AVES For the 2nd time this season Lakota East met Sycamore on the gridiron. GIRLS GOLF ADVANCES TO DISTRICT!

The East girls golf team tied for 2nd at the Sectional Championship yesterday shooting 357. Ellie Yeazell led the team shooting 82. The girls qualified for the District Championship next week with another chance at state. East Girls Golf will advance to the District at Glenview GC on Tuesday, Oct. 13th.  3 teams 3 individuals

BOYS SOCCER SHUTS DOWN MIDDLETOWN

The boy’s soccer team beat Middletown on the road by a score of 7-0. Andrew Shroder started the scoring in the 19th minute of the match after finishing a pass from a teammate, Jacob Nguyen.
