GIRLS BASKETBALL SUFFERS LOSS TO SYCAMORE

East suffered a 46-33 loss at Sycamore on Saturday. East trailed by 8 at the half and couldn’t mount a come from behind win. The Hawks were led by Savannah Smith’s 10 points and 7 rebounds. Next up for East is a home game vs. Lakota West on Wednesday.

ACADEMIC QUIZ FALLS TO WEST

The East Academic Team began their season on Wednesday at home vs. Lakota West. The Hawks would suffer two losses at the hands of the Firebirds, 53-47 and 65-53. Next up, East Academic will visit Princeton on Wed. Jan. 13th.
