Girls Volleyball Sweeps Middletown

Lakota East (7-5) defeated Middletown 25-10, 25-11, 25-10 on Thursday night. Cailyn Wachtel 25 digs, 6 aces, 1 kill and Dani Wene had 16 digs and 1 ace. Spenser Parks had 12 kills and 5 digs while NaDiah Fry had 6 kills. Taina Benitez had 11 kills. East will visit Fairfield on Tuesday, Sept. 24th.

In a closely contested match against the #2 team in the city, East fell to Sycamore 2-3 on Tuesday. The Hawks would not miss their opportunities at 2nd singles and 1st doubles.
