EAST RETAINS CHALLENGE TROPHY!

Reds to Honor Coach Castner

Lakota East Head Coach Steve Castner will be recognized as the High School Softball Coach of the Year by the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, Sept. 7th at Great American Ball Park.  Castner’s East Softball team were state-runnerup and finished a historic season last spring.  He will be honored alongside other area baseball and softball coaches

JACOB MCDONALD EARNS ALL-AMERICAN HONORS

Former Lakota East Swimming standout, Jacob McDonald, has earned status a 2018-19 NISCA Boys High School Swimming All-American. McDonald, a 2019 East graduate, qualified for this recognition as a result of his times in the 500 Free and 100 Backstroke events. CONGRATULATIONS JACOB!

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL 1-1 IN EARLY COMPETITION

GIRLS TENNIS SEASON WELL UNDERWAY!

East Girls Tennis opened their season at home versus Anderson on Aug. 12th, winning 4-1. Our 1st singles and 1st doubles team anchor this team. GIRLS SOCCER FACES USUAL TOUGH SCHEDULE

On Saturday, August 17, the Zionsville Eagles made the trek over from Indiana to play the Thunderhawks.  Zionsville is a storied program from the Indianapolis area and traditionally fields a strong roster each year.  The 2019 season is no exception. GIRLS GOLF OFF TO STRONG EARLY SEASON START!

The Lakota East girls finished first in the Sycamore Invitational on Aug 6th, shooting 310. They squeaked passed Mason and Sycamore by 1 shot. East Boys Golf opened the season August 5th at Wetherington Country Club for the East Invitational. GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY 1ST AT OHSAA INVITE!

The Lakota East women’s cross country team started their 2019 campaign off with a bang on Saturday, August 17th by winning the very competitive, 31-team, OHSAA Early Season Invitational for the second consecutive year.  The Lady Thunderhawks edged out the Mason women by two points, 96-98, for the championship trophy. East was led by freshman
