Boys Varsity Soccer · BOYS SOCCER SHUTS OUT LEBANON

The Boy’s soccer team defeated the Lebanon Warriors on the road Saturday 3-0. The Hawks got on the board early when Connor Pletikapich cleaned up a shot that hit off the crossbar and fired it past the Warrior keeper. Pletikapich would extend the Hawks lead 10 minutes later after a cross came in from Braden Anderson, who connected the pass to his teammate making the score 2-0. Midway through the first half Andrew Shroder added another goal after finishing a ball off a corner kick making the score 3-0. The Hawks defense, lead by goalkeeper Lucas Fields, secured their second shutout of the season.

The Hawks return to action at Hamilton Thursday night as the open GMC play. East record moves to 1-2-2 (0-0-0 GMC).
