The Hawks played on Sunday and Monday at the Kiely Cup, held at Canterbury CC in Cleveland. Canterbury is the site of over 9 major championships and the Kiely Cup is by invitation only.
East golfers battle for 2 days and finished in 3rd place, only 1 stroke out of 2nd and only 2 strokes out of 1st. East SHOT 620 for the 36 holes and was led by KIELY CUP MEDALIST— JOE WILSON who shot 72-72 to bring home the individual victory. Next was Brock Aten with a 77-76, Ty Sylla, 80-79, Peyton Houston 83-81. Griffin Kling shot 85, and Chris Poppe 82.
NEXT up is the Springboro Inv at Heatherwoode on Saturday where the hawks are defending champions.
