The Lakota East Girls Track/Field team once again brought home a trophy to Thunderhawks land. The East ladies won the District Championship this past Friday at Ross, a huge accomplishment for the girls’ program. Not only did they win, but they also did it emphatically. East amassed an incredible 186 points, with second place scoring less than half that at 72.5 points. This differentiation clearly displays the talent and depth of the East women. One official stated that he had never seen a team win Districts by so many points.
