The Women’s Relays were back to their record-breaking ways last Tuesday, April 30th at the Hamilton Varsity meet. The 4×200 team broke a school record, district record and meet record in a blazing fast time of 1:40.04! This talented squad includes Dawn Hilton, Serena Clark, Azariyah Bryant, and Camiyah James. Many congratulations are in order on this great achievement!
Not to be outdone the 4×100 team followed suit. Their record also constitutes a school, district and meet record! Their time was 46.53! The team consists of Dawn Hilton, Kaylyn Heath, Azariyah Bryant, and Serena Clark. This group of strong athletes should be congratulated, as records are not broken every day. These records are very high and difficult to achieve.
Jada Bouyer was another record breaker in the High Jump! Jada went an amazing 5-04 feet! This ties the East school record. East is so proud of her for this awesome jump and a huge accomplishment! No doubt Jada will be going for the new record and accomplishing that soon.
