HAWKS WILL HOST OAK HILLS SUNDAY 5:00 pm

East Softball achieved a 13-0 shutout at Princeton on Wednesday. Junior pitcher Jess Church picked up another win Wednesday over Princeton, striking out 6 batters before being relieved in the 3rd inning.

Madison Cureton and Hailey Holtman hit back-to-back homers in the second inning, extending the Hawks lead to 10 and 11, respectively. Other offensive producers for the Hawks included:Abby Niehaus (2-2, walk, 4 RBI), Cassidy Hudson (3-3, walk, 1 RBI), and Cali Hoffman (3-3, walk, 1 RBI).

The Hawks home senior night game versus Colerain on Thursday was postponed. Makeup is slated for Tuesday, May 7th.

Next up East (21-1, 15-1) will host a makeup game against Oak Hills at 5:00 pm at home, ON SUNDAY (previously scheduled for Saturday, May 4th but postponed due to wet fields).

 EAST IS THE #1 SEED IN THE UPCOMING SECTIONAL!  They will host a first-round game on Monday, May 6th, 5:00 pm versus Withrow.
