On Monday, Lakota East Softball knocked off Lakota West 6-2 last Monday to continue their undefeated season.
Highlights: East defeated in-district rival Lakota West on Monday, adding another win to their GMC record. Senior pitcher Sydney Larson secured the W with 10 strikeouts, only allowing 2 hits on the day. Top offensive performers for East included: Cali Hoffman (2-4, 2 RBI’s), Abby Beckham (2-2, walk, HBP, 2 RBI’s), and Ali Lewis (1-2, HBP, 2 RBI’s).

East Softball remained undefeated on the season with a 12-0 romp over Princeton on Wednesday. Junior pitcher Jess Church threw a no-hitter striking out a total of 12 batters during the 5 inning game. Top offensive performers for East included: Jess Church (1-2, walk, 3 RBI’s), Madison Cureton (1-3, 3 RBI’s), Cassidy Hudson (2-4) and Sydney Larson (1-3, 3RBI’s).

East defeated Miamisburg 10-0 on Thursday. Senior pitcher Sydney Larson threw a no-hitter striking out a total of 10 batters during the 5 inning game. Larson also helped the Hawks offensively, going 2 for 3 with a home run and 3 RBI’s. Other offensive performers for East included: Abby Niehaus (2-3, 4 RBI’s), Cassidy Hudson (2-3), and Hailey Holtman (1-2, walk, 1 RBI).

The Hawks are back in action Friday at Colerain.
