Lakota East traveled to Oak Hills to get back into conference play, winning 14-4 last Monday. Senior Grayson Hamilton took the ball for the Hawks. He had another outstanding outing striking out 5 and only allowing 3 hits and 3 runs for the win. Senior Jake Fisher came in the 5th to close the door.

The Hawks started strong scoring the first three batters of the game and never let up. Only going one inning out of the 5 without scoring a run. The offensive power came from Mitchell Vincent (1-1, triple, 3RBI), Sean Church (2-3, 2RBI), Garrison Hamilton (2-3, triple, 3RBI), Casey Berglund (1-1), Grayson Hamilton (1-3, RBI), and Kyle McDonough (1-3, double, RBI).


The Lakota East Thunderhawks take another GMC series beating Oak Hills 4-0 on Wednesday. Nate Haberthier was once again sensational pitching his 3rd complete game. He had 10 strikeouts on a 3 hit shutout earning his 3rd win.

The Hawks offense was not its usual self but managed to get the runs needed for the win. Senior Kyle McDonough led the offense going 2-3, RBI. Junior Preston Dorsey was 1-3 and Will Koger had a sacrifice RBI.

The Thunderhawks will battle Mason on Friday at Thunderhawk Field at 5 pm. Both teams are currently tied for 1st in the GMC.
