The Thunderhawks locked down third place at Saturday’s GMC Championship by finishing third on all 5 courts. All 7 Thunderhawks won their opening matches before losing to tough opponents from either Mason or Sycamore in the semifinals. Everyone went on to win their third place matches against opponents from Colerain, Lakota West, and Fairfield.

The OHSAA Sectional gets underway this week at Mason HS and run thru Saturday, May 13th. Qualifiers from each sectional to district will be four singles and four doubles in Division I.
The OHSAA District Tennis Championships are slated for Thursday, May 18th and Saturday, May 20th at the ATP Linder Family Tennis Center. Qualifiers from district to state will be four singles and four doubles. State meet to be held on Friday, May 26, 2017, and Saturday, May 27, 2017.
