Wrestlers Place at GMC Meet

The Thunderhawks hosted the GMC Championships this past Saturday. With two wrestlers out due to injury, the Hawks entered 9 out of 14 weight classes. 6 of those 9 wrestlers ended up GMC placewinners. Girls Bowlers Reach All-time Win Mark

The Lakota East girlsl bowling team won 1941-1539 in a shortened match against Turpin on Friday. It was the girls school record 13th win of the season. High bowler for the day was Maria Ballard wih a 341 series. Ali Gehr had a 329 series. Next up East will host Princeton for the final regular […]

Boys Bowling Falls to Turpin

The East boys lost 2501-2320 to Turpin last Friday. Daniel LaFlesche had a 394 series (184, 210) followed closely by Jack Hayes at 392 (222, 170). Next up East will host Princeton for the final regular season match in 2015-16. Sectional tournament play gets underway Feb. 15-20th.

Academic Quiz Team Ends Season With a Win

East quizzers ended their regular season with two wins over Middletown on Wednesday. Final scores were 62-56 and 45-16. The Hawks finish the season at 12-6 overall.  Next up is the GMC Tournament on February 20th at Garfield Middle School

Girls Basketball Wins on Senior Night

Girls basketball won Wednesday night 58-50 against Fairfield. Sam Rodgers led all scorers with 25 points and 7 assists. Girls bowling defeated Deer Park on Wednesday,1897-1650 in a shortened match. High bowler for the girls was Ali Gehr with a 319 series. Maria Ballard had a 216 game Next up East (12-4, 4-4) will host Princeton for their final regular season match on Wednesday, Feb. 10th.

Boys bowlers lost 2581-2483 to Deer Park on Wednesday. High bowlers for the boys was Nathan Anderson and Josh Knull each with a 385 series including games of 226 and 223 respectively. Next up East will host Princeton for their final regular season match on Wednesday, Feb. 10th.
