Number of years coaching Lakota Swimming/Diving: 16

My "real" job:
I have been teaching in the Lakota District since 1995. Currently, I teach 8th grade science at Lakota Ridge Junior. I am also a Red Cross Instructor /Trainer and a member of the Water Safety Staff. In the summers, I work as a Pool Manager at Windwood Swim and Tennis.

Other interests or hobbies:
When not coaching I am often on the boat, out on the water on a wave runner, or backpacking.

Memorable/meaningful coaching moment or why I enjoy coaching:
My most memorable coaching experience is watching a group of swimmers start to believe in themselves and accomplish the goals they are working towards. The look of excitement on swimmers' faces when they accomplish the "time," qualify for the meet, or set a record makes the work worthwhile.
