The boys soccer team was victorious over GMC opponent, Oak Hills, Thursday night by a score of 2-0. Midway through the first half, senior, Brady Keating played a ball over top the Highlander’s back line to his senior teammate, Ethan Fine, who beat the Oak Hill’s goal keeper to a 50/50 ball and placed it in the back of the net. Four minutes left in the half, Fine would get his 2nd goal of night after finding a redirected ball from teammate, Adam Karman, and slipped it past the goal keeper.

The Hawks defense, lead by seniors Rehan Khan, Chase Best, Ethan Oldfield and Collin Smith helped secure the shut-out for East. The Hawks honored 8 seniors before the game for Senior night. Those seniors were: Jak Birdsong, Dillon Cosgrove, Ethan Fine, Ethan Oldfield, Chase Best, Rehan Khan, Collin Smith and Brady Keating.

East record moves to 5-8-2 (4-2-1 GMC). The Thunderhawks travel down the road on Tuesday to play the other school to finish out their regular season.
