The Lakota East Athletic Department recently made another significant donation to their annual Susan G. Komen fundraising efforts to help fight breast cancer.  At the December 9th home basketball game versus rival Lakota West, a check for $12,100 was received by the Greater Cincinnati Komen Organization to support their cause.  Elite Chiropractic and Dr. Joe Lindeman were the 2016 Title Sponsors for the 2016 Hawks For The Cure Campaign (pictured below).

richUnder the leadership of East Athletic Director, Richard Bryant, Komen fundraising donations have raised over $82,000 in the past 7 years. Hawks for the Cure efforts this past fall included a series of events to support the Greater Cincinnati Susan G. Komen organization.  They included raffles, t-shirt sales, split the pot and other promotions at Lakota East  sporting events.  Earlier this year Bryant received the Komen “Power of the Promise Award” as an outstanding partner of their organization.

Hats off and many thanks to our Lakota East family and school community that continues to support this important campaign and make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
